Marlin?

Hace unos meses me entere que la compañia de armas marlin habia sido comprada por otra firma, hace 3 dias que trato de entrar a su pagina web, y sale sin conexion, como si no existiera, alquien sabe que paso, o solo es un error temporal.

Company expansion

In November 2000, Marlin purchased the assets of H&R 1871, Inc., a Massachusetts-based manufacturer of shotguns and rifles (New England Firearms branded), founded in 1871, and now located in Gardner, Massachusetts. Today H&R 1871 employs over 200 people. Marketing its products under the brand names of Harrington & Richardson and New England Firearms, H&R 1871 is the largest manufacturer of single shot shotguns and rifles in the world.[citation needed]

In December 2007 Remington Arms Company purchased Marlin.

Remington announced in April 2008 that it would close the Gardner manufacturing plant by the end of 2008 effecting 200 workers. There remains a manufacturing facility at North Haven, Connecticut.

In March 2010, Marlin announced that it would close its North Haven plant, and move the work out of state.

Marlin continues to be a supporter of wildlife conservation, and is allowing customers to use factory rebates to be donated to rebuild wildlife areas along the Gulf Coast through the end of 2010

Efectivamente cambio de dueños como lo comentó RCAB...

Remington anunció en abril del 2008 el cierre de la planta de Gardner a finales de ese mismo año afectando a 200 trabajadores. Seguirian sus operaciones en North Haven.

En marzo de este año Marlin anunció que cerraría la planta de North Haven.

Lo mas probable es que estén mudando las operaciones a otro sitio y por el momento no están produciendo sus conocidas armas...ergo...sacaron del aire su portal por el momento...
